HIV & HCV Education Projects

UQ's HIV & HCV Education Projects are based within the University of Queensland's School of Medicine and have been operating since the beginning of 1998. Originally the primary responsibility of the project was to design, develop, implement and evaluate courses for medical practitioners who wished to prescribe HIV antiretroviral therapies in Queensland. The HIV & HCV Education Projects now offer customised education activities on topics of choice and for particular target audiences as well as established education activities in the three core domains of HIV, sexual health and viral hepatitis. The customised education program enables workplace organisations to design an educational package to meet the diverse needs of their workforce within the constraints of time and budget.
