Contraception Research Trial

Are you on the pill? Do you suffer from headaches and/or pelvic pain?

FPQ is seeking women with a history of pelvic pain and/or headache for a clinical trial investigating a new contraceptive pill which may help reduce the pelvic pain and/or headache you suffer from during the week of your period. Participants will be reimbursed for travel to and from FPQ.

Participants will have trial medication provided without cost for the length of the trial and will be monitored for 6 cycles. The study is being conducted at FPQ 100 Alfred Street, Fortitude Valley and has received ethics approval.

To be eligible to volunteer for the trial women must:

• be already taking the combined oral contraceptive pill
• suffer from headaches and/or abdominal pain
• tolerate taking ibuprofen
• be aged between 18 to 50 years
• do not have any other significant medical conditions
