Information sessions for parents and carers

FPQ acknowledges that parents and carers are the primary sexuality educators of their children.

Parent and carer information sessions are designed to build communication between parents/carers and their children.

FPQ offers two types of information sessions:

Family education - for parents, carers and their children

Where do I start? - for parents and carers only

Family Planning Queensland (FPQ) Ipswich will be running the Preparing for Puberty Family Education program twice during the school holidays. This 1.5 hour session is designed for parent /carers and their children in grades 5-7 and is facilitated to help families communicate openly and positively about puberty together.

Registrations are essential prior to attendance. The program will be facilitated in Inala and Ipswich; the cost to attend is $15 per family. Please feel free to contact FPQ for more information about the program.
