Regional Education Coordinator – Gold Coast region
Family Planning Queensland (FPQ) is a Queensland organisation offering clinical and education services in the area of sexual and reproductive health. An exciting opportunity exists to join this dynamic organisation in the position of Regional Education Coordinator for the Gold Coast region.
The successful applicant will work closely within the Gold Coast community to coordinate, develop and deliver regional education programs, training and projects within identified budgets, coordinate professional development and supervision of regional education services and staff and contribute to quality management of the organisation through operational policies, practices and guidelines.
Salary and hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant depending on qualifications and experience. This position is permanent and hours can be negotiated up to 38 hours per week.
Salary range: $65,977 - $68,931 p.a (pro rata) + 9% superannuation. Generous salary packaging available.

Essential qualifications, skills and knowledge
- Skills in the development, delivery and evaluation of community education programs
- Skills in the development, delivery and evaluation of training programs for professionals
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Relevant qualifications and experience in education and/or training.
- Experience in program planning, budgeting, development, evaluation and management
- Experience in consultation and collaboration with relevant government and community organisations, and the development of partnerships
- Computer literacy in word processing, email and spreadsheet software programs
- Awareness of key issues in supporting an effective and safe working environment including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour
- The position requires a positive notice - 'Working with Children Check' administered by the Qld Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian
- Current drivers license and reliable vehicle.
Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment will be highly regarded.
