Finance Manager
Family Planning Queensland (FPQ) is a leading provider of sexual and reproductive health services to people in Queensland. FPQ offers clinical, education and information services from nine metropolitan and regional locations throughout the state. FPQ is a not-for-profit organisation.
Are you the right person for the position of Financial Manager?
The ideal candidate for the role of Finance Manager must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills together with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Extensive experience in all aspects of financial reporting and sound experience in preparation of management accounts, financial statements, budgets and funding submissions

Ability to continually review the commercial aspects of the business and identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency
Excellent computer skills including detailed understanding of MS Office and accounting software applications (currently using Attaché)

Internal audit skills with the ability to implement internal control measures
Demonstrated ability to be commercially focused and strategically driven to interpret the business's financial performance and drive resulting actions

Tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance - CA or CPA qualifications and experience in a similar role preferable.
This will be an exciting position for a qualified accountant with a desire to dedicate their talent and experience to a dynamic not-for-profit where a creative business savvy mind can make a big difference to the overall operation of FPQ.
