Training Programs Administration Officer - Brisbane.
Family Planning Queensland (FPQ) is a unique Queensland organisation offering services in the area of sexual and reproductive health. FPQ provides clinical services, education, training, information and advice related to sexual and reproductive health. An exciting opportunity exists to join this dynamic organisation in the position of Training Programs Administration Officer.
This is a part time position at 30.4 hrs per week.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the coordination of training courses for nurses, community and health sector workers.
Salary and hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant depending on qualifications and experience. Range: SACS Award level 4 - $45,422.00 to $48,908.08 + 9% superannuation. Generous salary packaging available.

Position Objectives:
- To provide administrative and event management support to the development and implementation of FPQ training programs and health workforce development projects
- To provide a high quality client service that demonstrates commitment to training and workforce development.
Responsible to:
- Training Programs Senior Administration Officer
Collaborates with:
- Regional Centre Administration Officers
- Regional Education Coordinators
- Training Project Officer (Quality & Compliance)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Service Delivery
- Work as a member of the training team to provide effective administrative support functions for training and education courses
- Maintain FPQ website pages promoting training and workforce development and resources
- Provide information to clients / potential clients on the range of training services provided by FPQ
- Contribute to team meetings, particularly in regard to planning and organisation of Nursing and other accredited courses
- Develop and maintain information and systems to ensure compliance with AQTF accreditation and training standards within a continuous quality improvement (CQI).
Physical Environment / Resources
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff and clients in accordance with relevant Workplace, Health and Safety guidelines, in collaboration with other staff.
Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Data entry and maintenance of electronic training and education records and statistics, including registers of course participants
- As a member of a team, ensure quality management of all training programs data and materials, including databases and document control procedures.
Administrative support
- Manage and maintain records and archiving including records on accredited and non‐accredited training
- Participate in the development and distribution of all resources, materials and documents on accredited and non-accredited training courses
- Prepare and disseminate course and program materials, including required pre‐reading and assessment tools
- Organise catering for workshops, courses and meetings
- Coordinate accommodation and travel bookings for course facilitators
- Implement continuous quality improvement activities for training and workforce development.
Other
- Other duties as directed by the Training Programs Senior Administration Officer relevant to the provision of training and workforce development.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in providing administration support of training activities, preferably in the education or health industries
- Demonstrated computer competency including experience with database maintenance, data entry, word processing and spreadsheets
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining administrative systems. Ability to work effectively in a busy, multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including ability to deal with sensitive health matters and clients from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to quickly become familiar with the nature and processes of FPQ courses
- Ability to show sensible initiative and to adapt to and understand new systems and programs quickly.
