Project Support Officer – Education Services
Position Objectives:
- To provide administrative and event management support to the development and implementation of FPQ projects and programs
- To provide administrative support to the development of funding submissions and reporting communications
- To provide administrative support to the Director and Managers in Education Services
Responsible to:
- Senior Administration Officer (Training Services)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Provide high level administrative support to the Director of Education Services to meet reporting requirements
- Compiling statistics and qualitative reports
- Undertaking compilation and analysis of service level information
- Preparation of draft correspondence
- Provide high level support to the Manager, Research and Program Development in the review of QA processes and materials for Education services
- Collating and categorizing presentations, resources and facilitator guides in response to revised frameworks
- Assisting in the dissemination and collection of learning materials to and from regional centres
- Provide high level administrative support to the Director and Manager of Education Services Development in the preparation of funding submissions
- Undertake a range of event management activities in support of program and project workshops, seminars and public forums.
- Work collaboratively with other administrative staff to meet workload demands and implement continuous quality improvement for event management systems
Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Ensure quality management of all service level databases and document control procedures
Other
- Duties as requested by the Senior Administration Officer (Training Services) and/or Director of Education Services
Selection Criteria
- Experience in the preparation of funding submissions and standard reporting documents
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work as an effective team member with a willingness to assist others
- Ability to work effectively within a small administration and multidisciplinary team to achieve quality, accurate outcomes
- Demonstrated computer competency including experience with data entry and word processing
There is potential for full-time or part-time hours. Salary and hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant depending on qualifications and experience. Range: SACS Award level 4 - $45,422.00 to $48,908.08 + 9% superannuation. Generous salary packaging available.
