Training Programs Administration Officer
Position Objectives:
To provide administrative and event management support to the development and implementation of FPQ training programs and workforce development projects
Responsible to:
- Senior Administration Officer
Collaborates with:
- Director Clinical Services
- Training Project Officer (Quality and Compliance)
- Regional Centre Administration Officers
- Regional Education Coordinators
Duties and Responsibilities:
Service Delivery
- Undertake administrative aspects of accredited and non-accredited courses including systematic event management process, speaker/presenter liaison, marketing and registration of bookings
- Provide information to clients/ potential clients on the range of training services provided by FPQ
Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Ensure quality management of all training programs data and materials, including databases and document control procedures.
Administrative support
- Management and maintenance of records and archiving including records on accredited and non-accredited training and other workforce development activities
- Participate in the development and distribution of all resources, materials and documents on accredited and non-accredited training and other workforce development activities
- Organise catering for workshops, courses and meetings
- Coordinate accommodation and travel bookings for course facilitators
- Identify and undertake improvements in systems and procedures
- Collaborate with training team to implement continuous quality improvement activities for training and workforce development
Other
- Other duties as directed relevant to the provision of training and workforce development
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level administration support preferably of training activities in an education or health industry
- Demonstrated high level computer competency including experience with database maintenance, data entry, word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. Experience in Vettrak and AVETMISS would be desirable
- Ability to work effectively within a small administration and multidisciplinary team to achieve quality, accurate outcomes
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to work as an effective team member with a willingness to assist others
- Ability to work with autonomy, initiative and to adapt to and understand new systems and programs quickly.
The position is part-time. Salary and hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant depending on qualifications and experience. Range: SACS Award level 4 - $45,422.00 to $48,908.08 + 9% superannuation. Generous salary packaging available.
