Position Objectives:
- Undertake responsibility for preparation and payment of employee salaries
- Maintain and prepare employee HR files and produce relevant HR correspondence
- Provide support services as a member of the Corporate Services team.

- Corporate Services Manager

- Payroll / HR processing and maintenance
Collaborates with:
- Corporate Services Manager
- Finance Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Payroll / HR processing and Systems
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of a fortnightly payroll
- Prepare and process superannuation payments monthly
- Maintenance of staff files and staff movement database
- Maintain performance appraisal and staff development information
- Maintenance of positional data and position descriptions
- End of month procedures and reporting
- Award interpretation
- Preparing and recording new employee information
- Prepare relevant finance and HR correspondence
Support Services
- Provide administrative, organisational and secretarial support within corporate services
- Provide back up, support and telephone relief or the Client Services/Information officer
- Provide backup and support to Executive Support Officer, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Facilities Coordinator
Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- Data entry of accounts in accordance with organisational requirements
- Operate a word processor in the provision of secretarial services as required
- Maintain databases and basic spreadsheets
Other
- Other duties as directed by the Corporate Services Manager
- Participate in quality assurance programs
- Contribute to the operation of Workplace Health & Safety Issues
Selection Criteria
To be successful, the applicant will need to demonstrate the following skills, abilities and attributes:
- Demonstrated knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge in the application of a computerised HR/Payroll Information system and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet and Outlook
- Well developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads to meet competing deadlines
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work as an effective team member with a willingness to assist others
- Ability to work effectively within a small administration and multidisciplinary team to achieve quality, accurate outcomes

Remuneration
Salary: $40,156 - $43, 391 pa
Generous FBT exempt salary packaging available
