Position Objectives:
- Responsible for coordinating facilities to ensure FPQ’s operations are adequately supported
- Contribute significantly to the Workplace Health and Safety program.

- FPQ managers and staff
Duties and Responsibilities:
Property and equipment
- Organise building repairs and maintenance using external contractors – out of hours attendance is not a requirement
- Contribute to the overall security of the Brisbane premises including key register procedures – assist regional centres upon request
- Supervision of the day to day and periodic cleaning duties for the Brisbane premises
- Ensure fire services requirements are met with respect to regular testing of equipment, emergency lights and exits
- Arrange equipment acquisitions including purchase and lease
- Coordinate the repairs and maintenance of FPQ equipment taking account of service agreements and warranties
- Arrange for maintenance and cleaning of vehicles.
- Complete moves/adds/changes of phone extensions as required and update phone list
- Dispose of surplus assets
- Coordinate sourcing of capital equipment, utilities and services to provide most cost-effective outcome for FPQ
- Prepare project plans for and assist with the coordination of any relocation/renovation/building activities involving FPQ offices and clinics, including involvement in lease and renovation negotiations.
Workplace Services
- Respond to furniture and equipment moving requests from senior staff members - arrange moving using external contractors
- Assist with external meeting room bookings when required
- Contribute to the workplace health and safety program
- Provide relief Helpdesk support to cover periods of formal leave
Records management
- Coordinate the records management systems in relation to storage and confidential disposal within FPQ guidelines
- Check and assess the status of assets listed in the asset register
Workplace Health & Safety
- Follow up promptly on injuries to ensure a quick return to work
- Develop, coordinate and maintain written Emergency Evacuation Procedures for all centers
- Co-ordinate regular evacuation drills
- Complete documentation in relation to Workplace Health & Safety
- Coordinate workplace representatives at each region
- Ensure FPQ meets legislative requirements
Other
- Supervise the activities of the Cleaner
- Other duties as instructed by the Corporate Services Manager

Selection Criteria
To be successful, the applicant will need to demonstrate the following skills, abilities and attributes:

Remuneration
Salary: Social and Community Award (SACS) $44,00 - $46,000
Generous FBT exempt salary packaging available
9% Occupational Superannuation
