Position Objectives:
- To provide high level administrative support to FPQ clinical services
Responsible to:
Medical Director
Collaborates with:
- Clinical Nurse Manager
- Administration Officers
- Regional Centre Staff
- Corporate Services Staff
Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resources
- Monitor professional registration and medical indemnity/certification requirements for doctors and nurses, in collaboration with Corporate Services staff
Support Services

Provide administration support to senior clinical staff
-
Coordinate the Clinical Advisory Committee Meetings and state wide clinical teleconferences
-
Ensure timely and accurate interpretation and reporting of state wide clinical data to monitor organisational outcomes.

Design and maintain Excel spreadsheets for the provision of information including trends in clinical services activities.

Collaborate with Corporate Services to manage the client records system, including archiving, in accordance with FPQ policies and standards
Information and Communications Technology (ICT)

Ensure quality management of state wide clinical data
-
Contribute to the development of ICT skills and capacity of clinical services staff in collaboration with the Help desk Support Officer

Participate in quality assurance programs

Other duties as directed by the Medical Director

Selection Criteria
To be successful, the applicant will need to demonstrate the following skills, abilities and attributes:

Demonstrated high level skills using word processing, spreadsheets, data base management, Internet browsing and Outlook

Demonstrated experience and willingness to innovate and identify systems improvement

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, exercise judgement and initiative and to undertake complex activities in a short timeframe

Demonstrated ability in organising meetings and taking minutes

Demonstrated interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills
-
Ability to work within a small administration and multidisciplinary team
-
Demonstrated ability in organising physical resources and electronic data
