Celebrating 21 years of sexuality education2009 marks the 21st year that sexuality education has been provided in Queensland. Family Planning Queensland(FPQ) is pleased to announce that it will recognise this milestone with celebrations to reflect on the history, best practice and future of sexuality education in Queensland. The celebration events will include a one day conference, an evening discussion forum and the announcement of an honour roll to recognise pioneers, innovators and key practitioners of sexuality education in Queensland. Several key agencies and organisations will be working together with FPQ to celebrate the 21st anniversary of sexuality education in Queensland. Do you suffer from headaches and/or pelvic pain? FPQ is seeking women with a history of pelvic pain and/or headache for a clinical trial investigating a new contraceptive pill. [read more] Our current campaign: Safe sex. No regrets.It is estimated more than 11,000 Queenslanders carry Chlamydia and only 44% of men and 35% of women always use condoms with casual partners. This campaign responds to rising rates of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among 18-35 yr olds. [read more] |
