Abortion debate in Queensland

This is a critical time for abortion debate in Queensland. It is also a critical time for participation from women and men in Queensland to work together to ensure abortion reform is directed toward protecting women’s rights to choose without fear of criminal sanctions or punishment, and practitioners’ ability to provide safe necessary medical care for their patients.

In addition to our existing position on abortion, and our focus on the area as an organisation responsible for sexual and reproductive health services, FPQ has recently joined with a collection of individuals and organisations to form Pro Choice QLD.

New contraception resource available
